Photo by David Burrows from his Flickr photostream Hadleigh station looking north towards the buffers in November 1974, One of two goods sheds was located behind the wall at the back of the platform. The platform canopy stretched the full length of the wall but after the line was closed to passengers it was shortened as seen here with a new flimsy canopy over the doors into the warehouse.

Photo by David Burrows from his Flickr photostream Hadleigh station in November 1974. Wilson's corm mill is seen in the distance opposite the water cooling tower for the maltings. The tower is close to Station Road and local children used to stand close to the tower and get sprayed with cold water on hot summer days.
Photo by David Burrows from his Flickr photostream Hadleigh station forecourt in May 1978 with the massive grain silo once again dominating the skyline. The stack of coal probably belongs to TP Wilson who were also coal merchants. Their mill is out of view to the left.
