HADLEIGH BRANCH TOUR 2

Former gated crossing along cart track at Pond Hall between Bentley and Capel St Mary, looking south, Gate posts can be seen on the left and right. Red arrow on map indicates camera position.

Looking south-east towards Capel Station looking towards Bentley., The station building and platform would of been on the east carriageway of the road (furthest from the camera and under the south (right) end of the car workshop.

Crossing gate at Clay Hall farm crossing point, looking south. Red arrow indicates camera position.


Site of crossing keepers cottage at Jermyn's farm crossing, known as Barfords crossing, Demolished after line closure. Red arrow shows camera position.

Track line just above Jermyns Farm at Capel St Mary looking back towards Capel station.

Former gated crossing just north of Little Wenham, Known as Pittocks, Crossing. Cottage stood on the left of this picture where the grass is no longer growing, Demolished 1939. Red arrow indicates camera position.
