Looking south from the Benson Road overbridge in April 1985,
detritus litters the former main line trackbed

Looking south from the same position as the previous photograph in 1987 with nature very much taking over the site. Thankfully the trackbed was under the protection of the WMPTA which didn't allow any encroachment onto it so the railway could be restored.

Looking north from the southern end of the station on 21 October 1990 during a charity walk arranged by Centro from Snow Hill to Handsworth & Smethwick. A group of the walkers can be sen carrying their yellow Centro carrier bags heading north.

Looking towards Birmingham on 11 June 1999 some two weeks after it had commenced running. Tram 6 heads in the Birmingham direction and is about to pass Tram 4 which is slowing for its station stop.

The original station entrance was built upon many years ago this is the view on 31 January 2016.

Looking across from the tram stop over the former relief lines on 31 January 2016, a mound is visible which tapers off towards the overbridge.

The only surviving part of the 1912 station is this short section of wall along Benson Road the ticket office was sited to the left.
