A Great Westen service for Bristol or Paddington is awaiting departure from Weymouth station c1903. 3414 was built by the GWR at Swindon works in December 1902. A member of the Bulldog Class designed by William Dean, it was named 'Albert Brassey' after a son of the famous civil engineering contractor Thomas Brassey who built a large proportion of the worlds railways. Renumbered by the GWR in 1912, it was withdrawn in April 1937.
