Weymouth station platform 4 seen from platform 3 c1900. Note the three roads between the two platforms: two were used for storage and the third, in the centre, was an engine release road. The LSWR two-road engine shed is seen in the background. This passed into Southern Railways ownership and was closed in January 1939. The site is now occupied by the 1957 excursion platform. A water tank is seen beyond the shed.
