A Bridlington excursion train stands in the down platform at Wetherby in June 1966. Seen here is 61457, an ex LNER B16, built by Raven in 1923 at Darlington and originally numbered 1374. Renumbered in 1946 to 1457, it received the 6 prefix at nationalisation in 1948 and was withdrawn from 50A, York North shed in June 1964 and sold for scrap in the North East in September of the same year. The B16s had an interesting life and further details can be found here.
