Station Name: THORNTON-IN-CRAVEN
In August 2016 ramblers are using the former railway trackbed at Thornton-in-Craven station. Several miles of the old Skipton-Colne line provide a pleasant rural footpath. The remains of the platforms flank the track in the foreground; the down platform (right) is largely intact, but overgrown, whilst the up platform is much degraded.
