CDR railcars seen at Strabane station on 19 August 1956. To the right standing on the loop line is railcar number 16 and to the left at the platform is railcar 19.

On 26 August 1956 the CDR operated the 'Hills of Donegal' excursion. The train seen here at Strabane was formed from two railcars and three coaches. At the head of the train is railcar number 19. Behind it is railcar number 15 and then coaches 12, 15 and 40.

At 10am on Saturday 22 September 1956 railcar 10 is seen leaving Strabane with three vans and a wagon. This was close to the maximum load for a railcar.

Railcar number 18 is seen at Strabane CDR station on 2 May 1958 waiting to depart towards Stranorlar.

A Strabane to Stranorlar goods train is seen at Strabane in 1958. At the head of the train is a class 5 tank locomotive number 4 'Meanglas'. The CDR station building with its distictive brickwork can be seen to the left.

The Strabane CDR station seen from the footbridge that provided a link to the GNRI station and looking north. Waiting to depart from what was at that time numbered as platform 3 is a CDR railcar number 14.
