The Cawood, Wistow and Selby Light Railway, opened a 1R shed at Wistow Junction on 16th February 1898. The line was absorbed by the NER in 1901 and the shed was closed. It remained standing until 1963, seeing use in latter years as a venue for Locomen's Mutual Improvement Classes. This photo was taken shortly before demolition c. 1963.
