The Up Class F freight headed by LNE 4-6-0 No. 61418 enters Selby station in July 1957. 61418 is a B16 on an express freight, denoted by the one lamp on the top middle bracket and another over the right buffer. It is a Thompson rebuild of a 1919 design by Vincent Raven. Rebuilt at Darlington in 1944, it was reclassified as B16/3 and allocated to York North, 50A shed. Withdrawn from the same shed on 30.6.1964, it was cut up by Drapers of Hull in October of the same year. None are preserved
