Rowsley first station building looking north in 1960, taken from track level. In the foreground is the loading dock, which was an extension of the original low platform. The door in the station building led to the goods office. At this time it was occupied by two clerks, one a junior. Most of the rest of the building was used as a provender store for cattle cake and cattle meal.
