Rowsley first station aken from the station approach road – which then ran from a point near to the Station Hotel (now the Grouse & Claret). Note the Express Dairy lorries full of empty milk churns ready to be returned to the farms. Two rows of Midland Railway cottages can be seen at either side of the chimney on the right of the station building.
