Taken frim the bridge that carried the lines into the Old Yard in August 1953. A Class 4F with a train of empty mineral wagons is signalled along the main line, although Rowsley South Junction’s distance signal is still in the caution position. The line in the right foreground led to the old shed and was periodically used for the stabling of Express Dairy milk tanks.
