A northbound dmu leaves on 4th March 1967, the last day of passenger service between Harrogate and Northallerton. The down platform is seen on the right. The picture is taken from the north end of the up platform. The end of the cattle dock is seen between the open wagons. Note the crane to the left of the signal box, there were two cranes at Ripon, the other was at the north end of the goods shed behind the photographer.
