The Dyserth branch railmotor is seen standing just to the west of Prestatyn station in the first decade of the 20th century. The fence seen to the left of the picture marks the end of the short low level platform that was initially provided at the western end of Prestatyn station for the railmotor service. Eventually the platform was replaced by a bay platform at the rear of platform 1.
