A lovely view taken from the air of the town of Padiham, 27 August 1982. The remains (now single line) of what was the North Lancashire Loop railway runs right through the middle of the town from Rose Grove in the east, around the left hand curve past the former station area and onwards to the power station which is just out of sight to the left in the west.
