Looking west along Oldham Central stations up (towards Manchester) platform in April 1957. Note the canopies have been shortened, that on the down side more than that on the up side. The coach seen on the far side of the bridge was part of a train that had stopped at Oldham Clegg Street station which was adjacent to Central.
