Station Name: NEWCASTLE EMLYN

[Source: Nick Catford]

Newcastle Emlyn station looking east from the buffer stops in 1967. The grain warehouse on the left, was probably built during WW2. It stands on staddle stones to prevent rodents from getting in. The short siding at the end of the run round loop has been recently lifted.
