A view looking south-east along the course of the New Buildings station approach road on 29 August 2020. The station building had been located where the house can be seen to the left of the telegraph pole with the flag. The modern residential road follows the same course as the station approach road at this point but was extended beyond the site of the station when the houses were built.

Looking east towards the site of New Buildings station on 29 August 2020. The house beyond the telegraph pole towards the right marks the site of the station. During the era when the railway was operational the road going off towards the left had dipped at a point just beyond the large tree and passed under the line. After closure of the railway the road was straightened and the dip filled in.
