Looking north-east from the down platform of Morpeth station in January 1990. The up platform retains its large, free-standing platform roofing, but the verandah has been removed from the station building and a much more modest one fitted to replace it. The old buildings have all been removed from the down platform, and a simple shed has replaced them. The subway entrance is in the foreground. The large corporate identity running-in board was installed c1969.
