Looking south in May 2012 at the remaining section of platform 1 which has been cleared of undergrowth. Manors Metro station (opened in 1982) is underground, and a new, shorter island platform on the site of platforms 7 and 8 of Manors (East) is now used by Northern Rail trains on the East Coast main line.
