The concourse at Liverpool Exchange station in April 1977. In this view looking west a mix of the British Railways LMR signage from the 1950s and BR corporate from the late 1960s/70s can be seen.  Although the station had become somewhat run down by this time it is clear from the picture that staff were making great efforts to ensure the station was clean and presentable.
