Langholm station in April 1953. 64884 is a J39/2, the 2 denoting it is paired with the larger 4200 gallon tender. Designed by Gresley, it was built in 1935 at LNERs Darlington works, a development of the large wheeled J38, Withdrawn from 12B, Carlisle Canal shed on 21.3.62, it was cut up at BRs Cowlairs works in August of the same year
