A two-car class 108 Derby built DMU waits at Gateacre station on Saturday 15 April 1972. It had arrived as train number 5F98 a Liverpool Central to Gateacre service. After a short wait at Gateacre it would depart for Liverpool Central calling at all stations. This was the last day of the service.
