A view looking north from the footbridge at Garstang & Catterall station in 1968. On the up main line 1M37, an express passenger service, possibly to Birmingham, is seen passing through the station. Standing at what had once been the platform of the Knott End branch is one of only a few steam locomotives still in use at this time.
