Looking south from Roe Lane Junction at the northern part of the Meols Cop triangle and the electric car sheds that were situated within it in April 1966. The line heading off to the right had been the route to Southport via Hawkshead Street Junction. It was closed by this time and in use as storage sidings. The line going left formed the eastern side of the triangle and ran down to Meols Cop Junction. The car sheds were still busy at this time as can be seen by the amount of rolling stock that
