Looking south from the site of Seacombe Junction towards Bidston North Junction in April 2011. The Seacombe branch came in from the left at about the point where the 20/30 speed sign is located. Just beyond the signal showing a yellow light the 1952 Bidston Dock branch came in from the left and joined the main line. Bidston North Junction had been at the point where the line can be seen curving to the left. A line had also curved to the right giving direct access to Bidston station and the lines to both West Kirkby and to Wrexham.
