RAILWAYS AT BIDSTON

The home signal post that served the Bidston Triangle west curve at Bidston North Junction in April 2011. The post would have been installed in the early 1960s after the Seacombe branch had closed. The taller part of the post would have carried a signal that indicated the route to New Brighton. The smaller post would have carried a signal that indicated the route to Bidston Dock which had opened in September 1952.
