RAILWAYS AT BIDSTON

[Source: Paul Wright]

Looking west at Bidston station in April 1977. The run down railway is very much in evidence. Dee Junction seen at the far end of the station was still controlled by semaphore signals at this time. Interestingly both the route to West Kirby, straight on, and the route to Wrexham, going to the left, are given equal status as both signal arms are at the same height.
