Looking north from the footbridge at Fencehouses station in April 1964.Working a class K Freight is 63453, a Raven-designed Q6 0-8-0 built by Armstrong Whitworth in 1920. Entering service in the December and carrying the number 2296, it was renumbered by the LNER to 3453 in 1946 and was withdrawn by BR on 2 October 1966 from 54B, Tyne Dock shed to be cut up two months
later by Drapers of Hull.
