Looking north-west along the platfom at East Winch station in August 1990. Althogh the station house is in private occupation the remaining station buildings and platform do not appear to be part of the same propert at this time.

Looking north-west along the track bed towards East Winch station in August 1990. Thgere is no obvious evidence of thge dowqn platform on the left. It is either very heavily overgrown or more likely it has been covered over.

The derelict remains of the signal box and part of the former goods yard at East Winch were for sale in September 2007. The box was still standing in March 2009; parts of the box were later used during the building of a new signal box at Thruxton on the Mid-Norfolk Railway.

Old Station House at East Winch on 11 September 2010.  The original construction materials are well illustrated showing the flint walls held by contrasting brick corners.  The original diamond pattern windows have been replaced.

Seen in March 2018, East Winch station buildings had been converted to a dwelling. The end wall of the house, formerly of exposed knapped flint and brick has been rendered, as have the outbuildings. In the background the brick-built waiting room on the up platform remains but has lost its ornate chimney.  A track, marked ‘private’ runs along the former track-bed.  There is no trace of the level crossing gates.

East Winch former station house, seen in March 2018, nicely updated and rendered is not immediately recognisable as a station building.  This view is taken from the south approaching the location of the long-dismantled level crossing.  The railway line was in front of the trees in the right-side background.
