Looking north-east along the up platform of Durham station in July 2013. The sandstone of the building has been well restored, and the overall appearance of the platform is clean and bright. The edge of the original engine shed is on the right, then the toilets, looking down towards the booking halll. The photographer is standing on the site of the parcels dock.
