Station Name: CHESTER NORTHGATE

[Source: Paul Wright]

Looking north at a small section of surviving boundary wall and railings from the western side of Chester Northgate station. The stations main buildings had been to the right roughly where the grass verge is. Between the building and the boundary railings and the building there had been a cab road that gave access to the station. The cab road, seen to the right of the railings had become a through road by the time this picture was taken in April 2011. The original road on which the photographer is standing had become a car park.
