![]() Bury Knowsley Street station looking east along the down platform in 1925. The nearer section of the up platform is sheltered by a ridge-and-furrow canopy, and at this time the fronts of the gables are enclosed and a deep valance is in place. The other canopies are of a longitudinal pitch design and were a later addition to both platforms.
