 Looking north from the site of the southern end of Accrington station's Bury line platforms in November 2010. There was a junction at the point where the photographer is standing. Lines went to the left westwards towards Preston. These lines were not served by platforms and were mostly used by goods and express services. Lines also continued towards the right, running roughly parallel to where the road now is. These lines went to Burnley and Colne and they were served by platforms.
